When it comes to ‘beauty packing’, the truth is that I am a very bad packer. I tend to pack every beauty product I own and end up filling every small space with things I really won’t be needing…
The thing is, I am so used to having my daily routine at home, I feel like if I don’t bring everything with me, I might not feel like myself when travelling. Over the years, I think I have found more or less a balance between packing too much or too little, although, it still might seem like a lot to many! 😀
While in the air
(1) Invisibobble – The Traceless Hair Ring; I pull my hair with it in a low or high bun so my hair doesn’t bother me, it is traceless and wont give me a headache, plus, it leaves me with some nice looking waves when losing it afterwards. (2) Herbal Essences Naked Travel Size Dry Shampoo; keeps my hair looking fresh on long flights. (3) Josie Maran – 100 percent Pure Argan Oil; works as a multi tasker, I use it on the ends of my hair to keep them looking healthy, use it throughout the flight to moisturize my hands as well as my face. It keeps my skin nourished with a healthy glow. (4) Yes To Cucumbers Hypoallergenic Facial Wipes; you can use these to de-frizz you hair by gently rubbing them on you hair, refresh your body, and most important; to remove all of your makeup! The cucumber extract also relieves slightly puffiness caused from flying. The air in the cabin will dry out my eyes and cause for some painful red eyes. For this I use (5) Rohto Cool Eye drops to relieve the redness. (6) Emphor Travel Orthodontia; ‘travellers breath’ is horrible. So I make sure I wash my teeth and use mouthwash regularly throughout the flight
For that 1st class experience, you have to try (7) Too Cool For School egg cream mask; masks take little to no space up, they give that much needed nourishment up in the dry air at higher altitude, and all you have to do slap them on, lean back and relax,
Afterwards, I will rehydrate every 2-3 hours with a few drops of (3) Josie Maran – 100 percent Pure Argan Oil. (8) Caudalie’s Beauty Elixer is perfect for flying; it has an anti-dull complexion treatment and tones the skin for prepping skin for makeup. Its fragrance is truly therapeutic and invigorating providing that much needed pick me up feeling.
I will use a small portable makeup sponge and dap a little bit (9) L’Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation; Light formula, gives my skin a nice glow, concealing small imperfections but without looking or feeling heavy. Comes with a sponge and mirror included so very convenient for on the flight. For under my eyes, I like to use (10) Garnier Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller. The cooling rolling ball feels and applies nicely without building up too heavy.
Next I will dap (11) Benefits –chacha go-go on my lips as well as on my cheeks for a healthy looking flush, the gloss included glides smoothly on my lips and makes them look a bit plumper. Lastly, I will apply (12) Bourjois Mini Volume Glamour Ultra Black Mascara.
