3 Iconic 90’s inspired lip shades that are here to stay ft. Super Lustrous Lipstick

Quick update;

My apologies for not keeping up with my blog post schedule but I kept putting it off because I just didn’t felt like it frankly 🙁 …  As I have mentioned in one of my previous post, I said adios to Spain and moved to Taiwan with my boyfriend, Sean, over 1 month ago. I’m a full time Chinese language student now and it only recently started to sink in that I am not her just for a holiday but actually for the long haul!

In case you hadn’t noticed, I felt it was time for a makeover of the blog…  so hope you like it 🙂  Ow, and I am going crazzee.. with all the Asian beauty cosmetics here in Taiwan… I am seriously in makeup maven … and can’t wait to share some of them with you all!! 😉

Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipsticks

The 90’s trend is all over the place and seems like it is here to stay… All though I’m not a fan of some of the trends back then like ‘the Grunge look’ , I love love love the browns! At first I thought it might age me, but after I bought these 3 shades that came in a set for just 20 Euros (I bought them on the plan with Ryan Air LOL, ♥ duty free!) I have worn them nonstop!

There’s the frosty champagne (Champagne On Ice) ; almost not there but still gives some dimension to the face- kind of shade, the pinkish – brown (Blushed); almost looks like your lips but a bit more made up and the red – brown shade (Toast Of New York); a warm color that looks so pretty when you slightly pad your lips with it for that winter bitten kind of lip, but looks very chick and intense when lathered up.

These really are fabulous lipsticks and I believe will suit many complexions. The pearl finish is semi sheer with a slight shimmer in it but can lather up nicely, the crème finish is on the other hand very pigmented and has a longer staying power lasting up to 3 hours. The formula is not drying at all and stays well put on my lips. A lip liner does help to define the lip more with the pearl finish one. The packaging ; small, compact in black and gold, is quiet outdated but I don’t mind this at all, in fact, I love it.

In conclusion: the formula is great and the price is right. 😉
